In October 2009, Left Brain and I ventured to Ukraine to start our family. We adopted two precious little boys. We are currently wanting to expand our family by 2 more! We're looking into adoption again. Read along, see where our journeys take us.

Cossienda

See this bowl of fruit? It's the only thing sitting on our bar. It was full.......YESTERDAY!
Seriously...apples both golden and Fuji, bananas, grapes, strawberries, blackberries, oranges, pineapple.....they all vanish like a magician's trick around this place.

I buy a carton of blackberries and can barely get them in the door before Left Brain has scarfed them all down. Strawberries are the same, they're next to go, then grapes. Grapes go fast, but are only eaten if I wash and pull them all off of the vine into a large bowl, then chilled until semi-crunchy. Which I have to do if I don't want them to sit in the fridge and ruin. Spoiled little turds! It's my fault though, right?!?

Still not much going on around the "Cossienda". Haha! Like how I did that? Mixed hacienda and Cossey. Cute huh? In Nikki speak it means the Cossey estate.

Moving along......

I know Left Brain will appreciate me fessing up to this...

I managed to seriously jack up my swagger wagon. It needed new rotors, break pads, tires, and a front end alignment. Yes, it doesn't have many miles on it either. How does one manage this? You ask.

Well, I'm pretty sure the problem is one with the operator. I drive with two feet. Crazy, I know. Left foot, break....right foot, gas. It drove my mother crazy when she was teaching me to drive. I blame my father. My first EVER driving experience was when he put me in his little five speed pick-up out in a field until I figured it out. I still say, having to use my left foot for the clutch is what caused this catastrophe that has become my driving.

Anyway....long story short...I'm without a vehicle today because it's being aligned. So, ol' Blue Eyes and myself are BORED!

Toooooonight, however, will be sooooo much fun!

I'm going to have a regular Friday night meal with the hubs and then the bestie and her hubs are coming over to our house for cards and games. YAY! Fun times!

My sister-in-law and her little family are coming in from Alabama this weekend. So we're gonna have a great weekend filled with friends and family.

Hope y'all have the same!
