In October 2009, Left Brain and I ventured to Ukraine to start our family. We adopted two precious little boys. We are currently wanting to expand our family by 2 more! We're looking into adoption again. Read along, see where our journeys take us.

These are a few of my favorite things.....

This was my great-grandmother's whisk. Old and weathered. Isn't it lovely? I absolutely adore it. Thus the reason it is propped on the window behind my kitchen sink. It reminds me of a simpler time. I look at it often.

Then there's this chair. Armless and beautiful. Not to mention this fabtabulous (yes, I know that isn't a real word) pillow. I love everything about it. But I think I mostly love it because Left Brain loathes it. Tee hee.

(See that precious chocolate lump in the upper left hand corner of the photo? I love her too!)

And then there's this. Where to begin? It's an old, old, old bottle filled with sand and a silver "C". The bottle belonged to Left Brain's great-grandmother and the sand is from the very spot on the beach where we stood when we were married. After we said our vows, we put in the first handful and then each of our guests took turns putting a handful of sand into the bottle. So, not only is it filled with sand from our wedding, but by precious people that we love dearly. And the "C" is for Cossey. That's who we are. Duh.

I don't really have anything to share today. The boys are at school and I am cleaning my house. So, since there's no new news, I thought I'd share some of my favorite things with you. Just some things around our house, but I love em'.

Have a good day!

  1. I do hate that chair. Who has a chair with no arms. It is like wiping before you poop. It just doesn't make sense. Tee Tee Hee Hee. ("What's that mean?")("That's some bad hat harry")
