In October 2009, Left Brain and I ventured to Ukraine to start our family. We adopted two precious little boys. We are currently wanting to expand our family by 2 more! We're looking into adoption again. Read along, see where our journeys take us.

All is well that ends well

Well, the Mary Kay party went off without a hitch. Good times with good friends. It makes my heart smile. The rest of the time flew by, fairly uneventful.

I've been consistent with my early morning workouts. Mostly because of the fantastic motivator that is my best friend! Non the less, I haven't given up. I can tell it is doing me some good...I'm not perfect, but I am able to do more and more each time.

GQ is doing well in school. His teacher says he likes to talk. I never figured him for a talker, he's typically shy. He's doing really well in his school work so far. I thought he might lag behind a little bit because of the language barrier. No way Jose! He's coming in there with flying colors. I always knew he was brilliant. :)

Blue Eyes has been a bit sick lately. He was stuffy a few days last week and had to be put on antibiotics to help get him over it. Today he has had a bout with a severe headache. I think the little man actually had a migraine. Never having had a "real" one myself, I'm not really sure. He kept grabbing his head and screaming saying, "Mama, make it stop." "It no feel better." He would have little bursts that seemed worse than others. I think the pain was so bad that it upset his stomach a bit. He only vomited just a bit, once. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a virus, but not for sure that it wasn't a migraine. Poor little fella. I finally got him to sleep after a dose of Motrin and a bag of frozen shredded cheese from the freezer (don't laugh, it was all I could find that was the size of his forehead). I think it dulled the pain just enough to let him drift off. He had about a two hour nap and at 7:30pm I decided to try to wake him. I calmly and quietly asked him if his head still hurt, he said, "no." So, I made him get out of bed and have something to eat. I wanted him to keep his strength. He and GQ are now in the tub and getting ready for bed.
At last, all is well at the "Cossienda".

Goodnight friends!
