I know it has been a while since my last post. We've been so busy already and fall has just begun.
I realize that what I have to tell you will most likely sound like crazy ramblings....I can't really help it at this point. My brain is a bit frazzled.
I will start by saying that I had a wonderful birthday today. Left Brain took some time off work to spend with me while the boys were at school. It was nice and quiet.
Left Brain's headaches are back with full force. I don't know if I mentioned this before...the horror that we went through right after we got married in 2006...it was awful! We were told that the cause of the headaches was everything from a brain aneurysm to rebound headaches due to an ibuprofen addiction. CRAZINESS! After many failed attempts at solving the mysterious puzzle, we landed in a Neurologists office in Nashville...which I highly recommend! The cause turned out to be a pulled muscle in his neck tugging on a nerve....the nerve was shooting pain all along the top of his head. Long story short...it took 8 months or so to figure this out and in 3 days (with the help of some mild muscle relaxers) it was fixed.
Until now......
And they are back!
We visited the doctors office today and started where we left off several years ago. With the mild muscle relaxers.....and it seems to have done the trick. He said his headache is now down to such a dull one that it shouldn't even be considered a headache anymore. GOOD NEWS!
Whew.....one thing off of my worry plate.
GQ and Blue Eyes are great. Blue Eyes hasn't had another headache, and I'm beginning to think it was some sort of odd virus. He passed something similar to what he had on to Left Brain and to my bestie. I think I also had a mild version of it. I've had a slight headache for the last few days that medication didn't seem to help. It is finally gone now...WHEW! Thing #2 off of my worry plate!
I recently helped GQ's K teacher on our first field trip. It was to a local event called "Fall on the Farm". The kiddos loved it and I was able to take my camera and make tons of photos for Mrs. Becky. Fun for all!
I promise to post some photos of this and soccer sometime soon.
I had the boys try on the pjs I purchased to make their Halloween costumes....I know, go ahead, say it out loud....
FINALLY! You've had those things forever and you are just now getting around to seeing if they fit?!?!?! It's about time you lazy bum!
I had to order another pair for Blue Eyes.....his poor little legs are much too short for the ones I previously ordered. When those arrive I promise to get started with the sewing part, and making the wigs.
Definitely.
Maybe.
