Also....happy early birthday to Ken-Ton-The-Wan-Ton! His birthday is tomorrow and we don't want to forget it too! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, KEN-TON!
We love both of you and wish we were there to help you celebrate!
Now....to the boys. We visited with Blue Eyes first today....as always. We were late (as usual) and were only able to spend about 30 minutes with him before he had to go inside for lunch. We left our visit already missing him and wanting to take him back to the apartment. He brightens our day so much because he loves to give us hugs and kisses. And whose day wouldn't that brighten? No one I know! We played with a ball today....that's two days in a row that Blue Eyes has forgotten about that silly sand pail and shovel....we never thought that would happen. Anyway, Blue Eyes and Papa kicked the ball around a bit and we were able to give him some juice and an apple for snack. It was cute because today he broke out some new English words on his own. He asked for juice....all on his own. Granted it was hard to understand because he had a mouthful of apple....but we heard it. He was sweet as usual....but we don't have much to tell you about that visit today because it was so short.
We walked back to the apartment after our visit and rested a while before our every other day jaunt to see GQ. We were able to catch up on some emails and baby clothing orders before our driver arrived to get us at 1:30pm. He took us to get GQ a superman toy at a local market and to grab a bite to eat for lunch
before traveling the hour drive to see GQ. It's such a daunting task to drive that drive because of the time, well, really it's because of the road conditions. The roads are so poor over here that driving a long distance seems even longer, not to mention that they drive like crazy people over here too! Even the most comfortable car feels like riding in a log wagon. But we get a visit with our son, so it can't be that bad right? This church is something that we pass everyday on the drive to see GQ...you can't tell it from the photo but the roof is a beautiful color of blue and shiny. We'll try to get a better picture and post it later....it's just so gorgeous that you just have to see it!

Today was a good day with GQ. He gave us hugs and kisses first thing....yay! We took him the superman toy and he was pleased with it. We played with that for a while and then moved on to working a puzzle. He also rode around on a pedal car in his playroom (actually...Granny Norma, you will appreciate this....Left Brain pushed him all over the place on that thing because he's too big to work the pedals...his legs are too long!) We played inside for about half the visit and then went outside for a while. We played on the merry-go-round again. The kid LOVES that thing. I truly believe he could spin around in circles on it for hours. It makes Left Brain and I sick after about 5 minutes. He spins fairly fast too! He's gonna love roller coasters! When it was time for us to go...he got mad and threw a little fit. He started yelling at us about a bunch of stuff we didn't understand....something about us not bringing him anything. We explained that we brought him Superman....then he moved on to yelling about something else. Finally, he took the orange from my bag and quit all the yelling. After that, he walked back to the room with us and gave us good-bye hugs and kisses. Who knows what all that yelling was about......I think it was brought on by the fact that we were leaving because he understands when we tell him we have to go.
After our visit with GQ, our driver took us back to the delicious Italian restaurant that we ate at the other night....it's called Grandi Pomodori pizzeria cafe. I took some pictures of our food tonight. I had a four cheese penne pasta and Left Brain had steak.
As you can see....it's yummy! After our meal, we went to a market that was downstairs from the restaurant ( we see that a lot here....a market downstairs from a restaurant). We got some more fruit for snacks for the boys and a package of peanut m&m's for us. You know we love our m&m's (the candy and our boys! ha!)
Now we are back at the apartment waiting for the time to skype our friends and family. We hope you all have a good afternoon and good night!

YAY for Ben! I think my legacy will be pushing the basket with you kids in it and you all saying "Go fast, Granny". Ben, you know I was 45 when Nikki was born and over 50 before I quit pushing. You have a long way to go. They would probably want to go faster if they could all get into the basket now!!!:) The food looks good. Nikki get their recipe for pasta!
