We recently had this Samaritan's Purse shoebox thing at church. We were challenged to fill one shoe box for each member of our family or for each pair of shoes we'd bought throughout the year.
I remembered that I had a Rubbermaid tub of beanie babies in storage that I've been looking to get rid of, so we dug it out and dropped a few in each shoebox.
During the process of going through the beanie babies to find appropriate ones for each box, I came across these two. It made me smile, being the St. Louis fan that I am.
The rally squirrel and the red bird, side by side, I just couldn't resist.
Maybe if Berto were to see this, he'd decide to stay.
