something blue

A very sweet couple that the hubs and I know just recently got engaged.....

and it got me a thinkin'...........


About the day that the hubs proposed to me, and then on to our wedding day.


This photo is a hankie. It was given to me on my wedding day by my very sweet mother-in-law. Just in case any of you out there were wondering...nope....I got it sewed up. I have the best mother-in-law there is. Done deal.

Anyway, she gave it to me as my "something new" and my "something blue". My new initials. I held it in my hand as we said our vows. Precious.

Anyway, I decided it was WAY too special to be put in a box somewhere. So, I folded it and put it in a frame on the ledge of my bathroom mirror. I see it everyday. Simply divine.
