In October 2009, Left Brain and I ventured to Ukraine to start our family. We adopted two precious little boys. We are currently wanting to expand our family by 2 more! We're looking into adoption again. Read along, see where our journeys take us.

Here's what I'm thinking

So here's what I'm thinking.....

I love photography.

Did I say "love"?

Silly me, I meant LOVE!!

I adore it.

I think about it often.

But I'm not very good at it. I have a semi-fancy camera with some SUPER cool lenses, but they really do all of the work.

Anyway, I've been reading some really neat photography blogs. It seems that the going thing is to post a photo a day for the whole year. It can really be a photo of anything. A portrait of kiddos, a food pic, nature, or just something cool. The point of it is to tell a story with a photograph and then you sorta end up with a summary of your 2011 in pictures. Cool, huh? I think I'll try it.

I probably won't be very good at keeping up with it, but I sure will give er' a good ole college try. Maybe I will start with just one a week, see how it goes from there.

I heard that gasp. :) Have no fear. I will still keep blogging about all of the silly stuff that rolls around in my head. You'll just get a picture to go with it each day. And don't you think it will be kinda fun to see what random stuff I can take photos of? Some may be silly or boring, but I betcha some will turn out pretty cool. And you know I have some pretty cute subjects......that can't hurt matters.

So without further ado........

I chose a photo that I snapped about a year ago. I just can't help but LOVE this one. This is one of the only photos that show how incredibly blue his eyes are. Thus the reason for his nickname being "Blue Eyes". They are beautiful, and I wanted you to see it too.

Isn't he just precious? I think so.

Have a great day.

  1. I vote on one a day! You have enough pictures for it! Also, have you checked out the Pioneer's Woman's photography blog? She gives really good tips!
