In October 2009, Left Brain and I ventured to Ukraine to start our family. We adopted two precious little boys. We are currently wanting to expand our family by 2 more! We're looking into adoption again. Read along, see where our journeys take us.

Hump Day

Well it is now Wednesday, and I missed yesterday's post. We were busy little beavers yesterday. It was errand day, and boy did we stack them all into one day! One of those errands was to schedule GQ's appointment to get his next round of vaccinations. He was NOT pumped about that one! But, he agreed that it needed to be done so that he could go to school. Other than that, yesterday was fairly uneventful...at least in the way of "cute" news. Oh, wait, last night were the t ball pictures. They turned out so cute! And GQ did so well at his game. He hit the ball SO far!
Today, being a Wednesday, was a school day for GQ. He really enjoys going to school. Each day he comes home speaking more and more English and telling me some crazy story that they read at school. It's sweet. But what isn't sweet is the fact that he woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning!
The boys didn't sleep well last night because of the LOUD thunderstorms that rolled through our area around 3am. That always makes for an interesting day on the next morning. Lack of sleep does some crazy things to those kiddos. It almost makes them more hyper! It's a good thing that I was minus one kiddo today, because chasing Blue Eyes around took all of the energy and attention that I had! WOW that kid is three hand fulls! And let me tell you, as big of handful as he is, GQ was that grumpy!
We made it just fine though...everybody has a bad day now and then, right!?
Anyway, I made the colossal mistake of deciding to go to Wal-Mart after picking GQ up from school. Both boys in tow, and WILD, I ventured through the isles of Wally World. And let me tell you, its a miracle that all three of us made it out of there alive. There were moments when I wasn't sure that poor little, LOUD, talkative Blue Eyes would make it out of there and live to tell about it! All kidding aside, he SERIOUSLY talks to EVERYONE that he passes! Saying, "Hi, how are you, bye!" to EVERYONE! And it's all well and good, except when you are in a hurry and don't have time to explain to EVERYONE that he is just friendly!
After all of that, they asked to go to DQ for supper. I don't usually indulge their every wish....but it actually sounded good to me too! :) And being church night, I am always left searching for quick meals to sneak in before its time to go to church. By the time we get home from church and give baths, its way to late to have supper too!
Any hoot! I'm sure y'all are tired of me rambling! Tomorrow is a new day...a t ball day at that!
Have a great evening and night everyone! Rest easy!
