In other news....I haven't been able to officially announce this until now...Left Brain got a new job!! YAY LB!! He's leaving TVA...which I know, it sounds crazy! But, his old employer offered to give him everything TVA had to offer plus increase his salary....how could we refuse!!??!?!?!
We prayed about it and labored over the decision...but in the end, we couldn't make it make sense for him to stay. Bummer to leave such a secure company, but it seemed right.
We have also come to the realization that God has more than adequately provided for our needs. Each time something was going to happen in our lives that we would need money for, God provided Left Brain with a new job containing a substantial pay raise. We were almost scared for him NOT to take this opportunity that God so richly rewarded us with. Who knows....maybe we are ready to go back to Ukraine and we aren't aware of it yet! We do know in our hearts that our family isn't yet complete...but what we aren't sure of is in what way we plan to complete it! Who, but God, knows what the future has in store for the Cossey Crew! I will tell you this bit of sweet information....
Left Brain's sister recently gave birth to her second son. His birth was May 4, 2010. About a week after his birth (what seemed like an adequate amount of time to GQ for him to process this occurrence), GQ came to me and said, "Mama, I think it you grow baby in you belly like Erica." (We still have a bit of broken English around here.) I giggled and said, "OK, maybe someday I will." He looked me right in the eyes, as if God was speaking to me through this child, and he said, "No mama, now. I want seester." HOW SWEET AND PRECIOUS THAT CHILD IS! But he also came to me later and said that he wanted to go back to Ukraine for some sisters. He said (not in these exact words) that he wanted to do for other children what we did for him. He has the biggest heart of any six year old boy in the world! I LOVE MY BOYS! (all three of them)
I also want to let all of you know that today marks 4 years that I have been married to the most WONDERFUL, CARING, THOUGHTFUL, INTELLIGENT man in the universe! Four years ago today we said our vows on a beach in Destin, FL, not ever even guessing that God would have so much in store for us in these four short years! And let me tell you (from first hand experience) how blessed you find yourself when you become obedient to the Lord! I would have not chosen this life for myself....I would not have known how wonderful it would make me feel! I would not have known that it would be WORLDS better than anything I would have given myself! Praise God and his all powerful, infinite wisdom!
