This week, actually tomorrow, GQ is going a full day to school by himself! He is totally excited about it and can't wait!I'm so proud for him because I knew he would love it once he got use to it. He loves to learn and has so much fun there. He loves his teacher Mrs. Regina and I'm so glad he does.
Blue Eyes and I are going to try a whole day alone! I wonder what it is like to only have one child...is it easier or basically the same? I'm going to find out. Blue Eyes and I are going to meet my friend Brittany for lunch....something I would never attempt with both boys.
The English has exploded at my house this last week. It seems as though the Russian language is a thing of the past. Now granted...the average person doesn't understand their English because, as of now, they both have fairly thick Russian accents. They actually sound Italian when they speak English. It's very cute. I sort of hope they don't ever loose it...but I know they will.
This is a big week for me....I've decided to get an iphone! I fought it as long as I could....and I caved. I'm excited about it though....and so is GQ. He loves to play with Ginger's iphone...and the fact that mama is getting one has him beside himself. Blue Eyes could care less. He's not my electronics child. That's for sure.
On another note...we had great fun in the snow this past weekend. We made a family affair of it. Trent and Traci came over and we tied an intertube and a barrel to the four-wheeler and had a blast. The boys liked it until papa flipped them and they "ate snow". (They were wearing helmets and plenty of clothing...no one was hurt). After that incident they sat in the van with Bebe and watched the "real" kids play (us bigger folks). I will try to upload some photos from that day tomorrow. We tried to build a snowman but we couldn't get the snow to stick together. The boys are still talking about the snow. They had totally seen it before because Ukraine gets lots of snow...but they loved it anyway.
I'll post more later!
