Paperwork and Timelines

Well, we've began the job that is re-doing paperwork. We submitted our dossier to Ukraine in February 2009 for translation and submission. In May we learned that our acceptance date was August 30, 2009. So, we were aware that our paperwork would need to be re-submitted before the expiration time of 6 months. We have started that re-submission process now because it is getting very close to August 30. Last night, Karen graciously agreed to notarized all of the paperwork we had completed so far. There were many letters to the Ministry of Adoption Services in Ukraine and several copies of our passports. We are still waiting on our medical forms because our Dr.'s office is on vacation this week. We need certified copies of our deed and PVA records. We are also waiting on our KY State Police background checks and our marriage license to come all the way from Florida. And once our homestudy comes in the mail (should be here tomorrow) we will have our dossier finished.

We will be sure to update when we finish and head to Frankfort to get it all Apostilled (certified).
