The hubs finally gave in...I've asked for a Great Dane puppy for years now. And he got me another chocolate lab puppy (Sadie Jane) hoping that would fit the bill. But it did not. I continued to ask and beg and make promises and beg some more. Those of you that know me, know very well how spoiled I am. LB tries his best to give me anything I want. But this is the one thing he has continually told me no about since I began to ask. "It's like having a pony in the house", he'd say. "They're just toooooo big", he'd say. And I'd continue to beg, hoping to one day wear down his resitence.....and today was that day!! A week from today is my birthday and I guess he'd been searching the internet for puppies. The fatal mistake was taking me to see the puppies....he had to know we'd come home with at least one....enter Stella Jo. She's absolutely precious and breathtakingly beautiful. I love her more than I thought possible! This photo is her first night with us. You can't really see it but her eyes are a blue gray that would melt the heart of a frozen person!
