In October 2009, Left Brain and I ventured to Ukraine to start our family. We adopted two precious little boys. We are currently wanting to expand our family by 2 more! We're looking into adoption again. Read along, see where our journeys take us.

Addition is moving along!

I think I've previously mentioned that we're adding onto our little cracker box of a house. Well here are some more photos of the process. Ya ll are probably gonna get tired of seeing these before it's over. So, I apologize in advance. I think I mentioned before that we were waiting on the appraisal to know the cap on our spending. We were hoping for a specific amount so that we could get everything we wanted in the house....and it came in at that exact number! YAY!

This is our little cracker box as it stands today. This is after they ripped our little porch off and put it in the backyard.

Our master bath is on the left back corner of our house as you look at this photo...your left. We're adding on to that too, but it's not in the following pics.

You see how our roof steps down over our bedrooms? Well, when finished, it will do that on the other side of the porch too...so everything will look all even.

Left Brain and his dad making sure things are ready to dig the footers.

This is where my little porch was before, as you can see we've lost the use of these doors. The french doors will remain an opening into our new living room.

See the orange paint on the ground? That's our new house! YAY!

Here you can see that the orange paint goes farther back than our existing house, that's where our boys' new bedrooms will be.
And in between their rooms and the living room (which is at the front of the house) there will be a bathroom and another bedroom.

This is the back of our house. You can see the boys' new rooms better here. And at the bottom of the photo where the concrete is currently...that'll be our new mudroom and back door.

That little porch and concrete all has to come up too!

And right where my swagger wagon is parked in this photo will be our garage! Yay! No more unloading groceries in the rain!

When they finish the master bath I'll post pics of it so you can see it too.

I'll be glad when we have walls so it'll make more sense in photos and you can really tell what's going on! But all in all we're adding on 3 bedrooms, one bath, living room, mudroom, and making our master bath bigger...oh and a two car garage. I think it's more than we're gonna be able to handle!
