In October 2009, Left Brain and I ventured to Ukraine to start our family. We adopted two precious little boys. We are currently wanting to expand our family by 2 more! We're looking into adoption again. Read along, see where our journeys take us.

Just call me Pistol Annie

Something you all may not know about Left Brain and I....we LOVE shootin' stuff!!! And I mean LOVE! We pumped about 50 rounds of ammo into some targets this afternoon as a little stress reliever, and boy did it work. Got some frustration you need to work out? Putting some rounds in a target will do the trick. So will kickboxing, so if you don't know what you're doing, then please, stick with kickboxing.

This afternoon I did enjoy myself.

"Do you feel lucky punk?"

I gave it my best Dirty Harry face.

And then I couldn't quit smiling.

Had to give ya one with the smoke rollin' out.

On a more serious note, I do realize the significance of this day 10 years ago. I was a senior in high school in Mrs. Stubblefield's English class. She turned on the TV and we watched the events of the morning unfold. Our Principal, Mrs. Pyle, came over the intercom and informed us on the tragedies that were happening in our country. We were told it would be a day that we would never forget, turns out they were right. Please take some time today to remember all of the innocent people that had their lives impacted in some way that day. Also remember the emergency workers that bravely risked their lives to help others.
