In October 2009, Left Brain and I ventured to Ukraine to start our family. We adopted two precious little boys. We are currently wanting to expand our family by 2 more! We're looking into adoption again. Read along, see where our journeys take us.

the end of an era

Well I'm fairly certain that this will be the last little bit that the boys can wear their superhero toboggans. It makes me sad cause they are so darn cute. So this post is an ode to the superhero toboggan. Sad to see them go...

This is somewhat of a funny story. We are just a few days into September in these photos, and my kiddos are wearing toboggans and jackets. We've had bit of a cold snap here in Western Kentucky. It went from 102 degrees on Saturday to the mid 60s on Sunday. Today was a bit cooler with the lower 50s this morning. Granted, 50 degrees really isn't all that cold, but coming off of a 103 degree day....it's feels pretty frigid. Thus the toboggans.

We had a fairly productive afternoon. The kiddos played outside while hubs bush hogged the garden. The two brown and furry kiddos enjoyed the chopped up bits of corn left in the hubs' aftermath.
