We dined at "the Back Porch" tonight. Let's just say it left a lot to be desired. Hubs and I marked it off our list of places to return.
Also, yesterday I forgot to mention a piece of important news. I don't know if I've mentioned it on the ol' bloggy blog before, but Left Brain is a mechanical engineer. Actually, he has been an EIT since he graduated. He took a test after graduation to become an "engineer in training" which he passed and has been for the last four years. Upon four years of "studying" under a professional engineer one becomes eligible to sit for an exam to become a professional engineer himself. Left Brain was eligible this April and took the test. He found out yesterday that he passed!!! Of course I knew he would cause he's an awfully smart boy...but he had his doubts. Apparently it takes many people several attempts to pass this test, and Left Brain was able to do it on the first try.....Congrats babe! We're really proud of you!!
beautiful shots (although I'm getting increasingly jealous of all these beautiful beach shots while it rains here in Seattle. and also pretty jealous of that bikini body!) congrats to Left Brain! SO excited for your family and where this will take you all. Fantastic news to receive, and on such a beautiful vacation!

ReplyDeleteWe were pretty stoked to find out Hubs' results while on vacation! Icing on the cake!
He plans on staying at his current job. They hand out raises for folks who pass the test, so as for now, we're staying put.
