So, I was sitting in the lobby at my annual womanly check-up when this little old couple walked in and sat down next to me. The lady had to be in her mid to late 80s....cute little thing. She had quite a bit of trouble getting around and based on what she said to me next I think she also had trouble seeing.
She sits there for a few moments to catch her breath and I notice her staring at my feet (wearing the shoes in the photo above). She sorta smacks me on the shoulder and grins really big and says, "I sure do like those slippers".
Now for the life of me I have NO IDEA if she was joking or not. It was sweet either way...but would be down right hilarious if she thought she was being funny!
I wish I knew, but I said "thank you" and walked away as they called my name.
Too funny.
Those really are quite the slippers! I don't know how you walk in those things!
