Good ole Blue Eyes.
After having two snow days within the last week and Left Brain being gone for 3 days on a business trip, we are all SUPER ready to get back into our normal routine.
We're almost there.
Today GQ went back to school, and Papa is on his way home.
It's just Blue Eyes and I at home today, and let me tell ya, he loves these kind of days.
He says....
"Pyay me, Mama. Pyeez pyay me."
meaning... Play with me, Mama. Please play with me.
So, of course, we played tractors. Or traters, as he would say.
It's absolutely precious the way he talks. He's still trying to master the English language. Some of the sounds are still hard for him to make...L's and G's mainly. L's come out with a y sound, and G's....well I'm not even sure how to describe what those sound like. They almost disappear altogether. Grapes turns in to aps.
I love to listen to him say "No markers, only crayons".
Preciousness. Pure and simple.
He's also started saying yes sir after every sentence.
For example, the other day he was asking for some chocolate pudding.
He said to me..
"Mama, I sure do want some chocolate pudding, yes sir I do."
It comes after every request. He cracks me up.
