Absolutely stunning!
I rarely notice the sunrise. I think it's due to the fact that it's totally dark at 4:30am when I wake, and is still fairly dark at 6am when I'm arriving back home. The sun actually rises while I am too busy preparing breakfast to notice. Not this morning.
My camera skills do not do it justice. Plus, I think my camera isn't equipped for this type of photography. I noticed the pink and purple right away. It took my breath. So much so that I actually got my camera, put on my coat, and walked outside to snap some photos. IT WAS COLD! But worth it.
I'm one of those people who rarely takes the time to "stop and smell the roses". I hate those people, and I'm one of them. I'm always rushing around from here to there, picking up after everyone, trying to get three hours worth of stuff crammed into 30 minutes. I never take the time to appreciate my surroundings......until today.
I've learned my lesson. Life's too short.......and beautiful not to enjoy!
