In October 2009, Left Brain and I ventured to Ukraine to start our family. We adopted two precious little boys. We are currently wanting to expand our family by 2 more! We're looking into adoption again. Read along, see where our journeys take us.

I know......it's been ages!

First let me start by saying, "I'm SO SO SO sorry!" It has been a while since my last post.

We are still in full soccer mode. We just took a week off for fall break. Our county schools observed break this past week for the students and the soccer association went along with it. I think it was for a whole different reason....tournaments or something.

Anywho......we enjoyed a week break from school and soccer. Papa (you know him as Left Brain) took a few days off from work and we spent some quality time together. It's been since summer since we've been able to do that....it was nice.

During our week long break we visited several places and marked several chores from our "to do" list.

We worked at church for a day and cleaned up some of the classrooms upstairs. We also worked in the library and got it put back together! Woo hoo! If you only knew how long it has been torn apart.......I started that project right before we got our call to go to Ukraine....1 year ago. I just haven't had any spare time in the past year. We were in Ukraine for 5 weeks, then we had a few months worth of adjusting time. Then it was preparing for school with tons of vision, dental, and doctor appointments.....don't forget vaccinations! Anyway, long story of excuses short...I just now found the time!

Next on my list is the church directory....it got halted around the same time the library did. And after that, the resource room.

Anyway, enough with my "to do" list.....how about our trip to Cincinnati and Louisville?

We went with a group from church to the Creation Museum. It was lovely, and GQ and Blue Eyes really loved the dinosaurs!
Then, on our way back home, we decided to veer off the path and take the boys back to the Louisville Slugger Museum. They loved it so much last time and never even got to see the good stuff. This time we made it in time for the factory tour and got to see how baseball bats are made. I'm a huge baseball fan and I LOVED it!

GQ got a photo with The Bambino, The Sultan Of Swat, The Colossus of Clout, The King of Clout, The King Of Swing, The Jovial Giant, etc. Sorry, I just couldn't resist......How fun!

Now, just look at that big bat!

This afternoon we ate lunch with my in-laws for a birthday celebration for Uncle Trent. Good food, good times, good family. Right now we are chillin' at home, trying to re-coop from all of the travels, and skippin' church. Go ahead, shake your finger at me.....what can I say? We're tired. And the couch is ultra comfy tonight. :)
