Well, some of you may notice that you no longer have to log-in to view the blog. I have recently been doing some soul searching. I have decided that reading my blog may be helpful to others in the adoption process. I have changed everyone's name to protect my family.
My name is the same...Nikki.
My husband I now refer to as "Left Brain"....it's a nickname I have recently given him, which I think fits him very well.
Our oldest son, the blond-headed one, I now refer to as "Mr. GQ". And those of you that know him, know that it's also a fitting name for him. He always wants to look his best and have his hair fixed just so. He's somewhat of a little model too...always posing for my camera.
Our youngest son, the one with the big puppy dog eyes, I now refer to as "Blue Eyes". And you can tell just from the photos, why this is so fitting. He uses those eyes to his advantage too.....they just dance when he is happy. It's the perfect nickname for him.
And so.....I would appreciate if those of you that know us and want to comment on the blog would leave our "real" names out of it. This is the only way I feel comfortable opening up our lives for the rest of the world to see.
P.S. Belle says that she is ok if the whole world knows her "real" name. She's pretty sure that she's gonna be a "big deal". She's banking on becoming famous from this thing going public! LOL!
