The chill is in the air....and so is the smell of cinnamon! I love this time of year. It always seems to put most folks in a fantastic mood. And what can I say about the season? Nothing negative this year! We have two lovely additions to our family that make the idea of Christmas so much more exciting this year! We are ready for Santa to be on his way! Let's hear those sleigh bells jingle and ring-ting-tingle! The boys are now pointing out every Santa Claus they see! They shout "SANTA CLAUS!" It's precious! I can't really think of anything new that they are doing these days...it all seems the same. The other day they woke up and spoke only English. It was crazy...I kept thinking...who are you and what have you done with my children. Then about lunchtime they reverted back to Russian....but I am telling you...they were saying words that I didn't even know they knew! They know our language....they just aren't totally comfortable with it yet....we are getting there.
GQ has mastered his ABCs. He will sing the song to you if you ask him to. And Blue Eyes will sing along with him...to the same tune at least. No ABCs yet....but he is only 3! We are working on it.
They are still as precious as ever!
Oh.......I forgot! We took them a week ago today to get their vaccinations before school. They each had to get four (two in each arm) and they were all the deep tissue shots! EEK! As if that wasn't bad enough for one day...poor little GQ fell in the waiting room and hit his eye on the chair! It was almost swollen shut and bruised immediately! He cried and cried and cried. It is still totally black and it has been a week! I have never felt as sorry for a child as I did him that day! He was miserable!
