In October 2009, Left Brain and I ventured to Ukraine to start our family. We adopted two precious little boys. We are currently wanting to expand our family by 2 more! We're looking into adoption again. Read along, see where our journeys take us.

We are here!

We made it at about 5 pm on Saturday night and we are doing GREAT! We have been eating VERY well. The food is actually pretty good here. We went to our appointment this morning at the center for adoptions. We took pictures but have no time to upload them now. We viewed several files for children. All of them were sibling sets of two. We actually chose the first file they showed to us but kept viewing others so we wouldn't offend the ladies in the office. We knew right away.

We chose a male sibling group. The oldest child turned 5 years old in May and his younger brother turned 3 in August. They are precious. We are traveling overnight tonight to the region so that we can meet them in the morning. Our translator (Oksana) is FANTASTIC!!! She is making things happen fast so far. We already have our referrals today and she said it usually doesn't happen on Mondays. We are keeping a video of our steps. We will try to post more later if there is internet access in the region (Nikoliv) where we will be staying. We are really excited to meet them tomorrow. Keep us in your prayers!

    That is wonderful!!! I am so excited for you both! Cant wait to see photos. Two! YEAH!!!!!!!! Sounds like the Lord has your hands and is taking you right along. We love you both and are so proud for you. This is all going so fast once it has gotten started it is great!
